Things are certainly on the up for Goalkeepers in Australia with the introduction of regular goalkeeping camps. I was lucky enough to be able to coach a group of WA and Qld keepers this week whilst they were on a three day camp. A great group of girls and some real talent. The aim was to bring the guys and girls up to speed with current skills and techniques being used in Australia and also internationally. It is important that junior goalkeepers are exposed to the training techniques used in the national program so that everyone is on the same page and working on the same things.
